With increased government funding, as of 27th April 2026 our Clinic has transitioned to fully Bulk Billing consultations for all eligible patients with a current Medicare card.

Please ensure you bring a current Medicare card to your appointment.

*Although government funding has increased, certain procedures are not covered under this funding, therefore, some minor procedures and excisions will incur an out-of-pocket fee.

Bulk Billing, Procedures & Payment Information

Bulk Billing

We bulk bill the following services for all patients with a current medicare card:

  • Consultations
  • GP Chronic Care Management Plans and reviews

  • Health Assessments for all ages

  • Mental Health Care Plan Reviews

  • Healthy Heart Checks 

  • Childhood immunisations

  • Scheduled immunisations

  • Dressings 

Procedures

Bulk billing incentives do not cover all medical procedures, therefore some procedures will incur an out-of-pocket fee.

Implanon Fees

  • Insertion: $30

  • Removal: $50

  • Removal + Insertion: $70

  • Minor procedures/excisions:$50

Telehealth

Under Medicare regulations, telehealth is only available to patients who have attended a face-to-face consultation within the last 12 months.

If you are a new patient, or have not been seen in person within the last 12 months, you will not be eligible for a telehealth consultation.

How do I pay for my procedure?

Face-to-face by:

  • Credit card

  • Debit card

  • Cash

How do I receive my rebate?

Your rebate can be processed:

  • Immediately to a debit card (on-site only)

  • Through our medical software, fee is transmitted to medicare and rebate will show up in bank account registered with medicare

  • Through your MyGov Medicare / EasyClaim account

  • By claiming directly with Medicare using your receipt

What is a rebate?

A Medicare rebate is the amount refunded to you by Medicare after payment for an eligible medical service or procedure.

Rebates can be processed using:

  • Debit card (in clinic)

  • MyGov Medicare / EasyClaim

Can I just pay the gap (difference)?

No. Medicare requires patients to pay the full fee first. The rebate is then processed afterwards. General practices are unable to charge only the gap amount.

I have a pension or concession card. Do I need to pay?

Eligible pension/concession card holders, children under 16 years, and Veterans are bulk billed for standard face-to-face consultations however some procedures  such as minor procedures / excisions will have an upfront fee.

How do I set up my bank details with MyGov?

To register your bank details with Medicare, please visit the Services Australia website and update your Medicare account through MyGov.
